Changing once again..

Please Excuse my need to constantly change the background on this blog. For some reason I can not find the perfect piece of eye candy. I will pick one and love it for a few days but as my mood changes I'll get tired of looking at it once again. I wish I could just create my own? Any suggestions on other background sites. I can't exactly describe what I'm looking for, Hmmm lets say......simple, contemporary, whimsical and retro maybe?

First Day of School! First Day of School!

Today was Genevieve's first day of school! She is going to be finishing out the school year in Ms. Pam's Tuesday/Thursday 2 year old class. Since today was the first day we both took her. We pulled up to the school and got in line with the other Vans and SUV's, retied her shoes, then when a teacher came up to the car to take her into the school we kind of just booted her out and drove off? I don't know about Matt but I felt a little pressured to get out of everyone elses way.....Then we noticed that she wasn't progressing towards the school, we saw the teacher pick her up and then they both waved at us as we were passing the playground to leave. About 5 minutes down the road Matt said "I just got this sickening feeling in my stomach that she's sitting there crying because we just drove off and left her. Come on, when have we ever just stopped the car told her to get out and drove away?". Another minute or two passed and we turned around to go and check on her. To our relief she was doing fine. We could see through the small rectangular window in the classroom door that she was playing and mingling just fine, she never missed a beat........I knew she'd be just fine ;)

Hilton Head

We stopped off in Hilton Head for the Night on our way to North Carolina to visit my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin. We stayed at a Hotel on the beach, the weather was perfect but the water was freezing!! Genevieve and I had fun playing in the sand and letting the water chase us! 

Guitar Hero

I know that I haven't blogged in quite a while but I had to post this picture of Genevieve the little "guitar hero". She saw this yesterday while she was out shopping with Grandma and had to have it. She was such a ham, moving her head side to side, swaying her body back and forth  and singing....she was a Natural!
